Olympic Hiking Co. will once again operate their Hurricane Ridge Winter Shuttle Service this winter season operating every Saturday and Sunday, plus Monday holidays (Jan 19 and Feb 16) until March 29, 2026.
The 4WD shuttle bus will depart from the Port Angeles Wharf at 8:30 AM (load zone in front of Olympic Hiking Co.’s office near downtown Port Angeles) and return by 3:30 PM giving you a comfortable 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM recreation window atop Hurricane Ridge. Leave the tire chains (and the winter driving stress) at home and enjoy a safe, scenic ride from sea level to ski level.
Shuttle tickets will start at just $25. As a reminder, this is the only winter shuttle service from Port Angeles to Hurricane Ridge.

In conjunction with the shuttle service, Olympic Hiking Co. is excited to continue its top-rated Hurricane Ridge Guided Snowshoe Tours on Saturdays this winter season. This small group snowshoe tour (up to 10 clients with 2 guides) include snowshoes, trekking poles, local guides, and shuttle ticket. This is an amazing option for first-time snowshoers looking to learn the basics and even experienced snowshoers looking to learn more about avalanche awareness, winter safety, and the ecology of Olympic National Park from a local guide.
