Join the Parks & Recreation Department for an exciting and fun-filled day as we celebrate the 2026 Port Angeles Day of Play!
Day of Play coincides with National Parks and Recreation Month and recognizes the importance of recreation in our lives and highlights the many opportunities available in our area. It’s a chance to explore our local parks, engage in fun and new activities, and connect with the Port Angeles community.
The Parks Department has partnered with local organizations to offer a wide range of activities. From live music and performances to sports fundamentals and yard games, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!

The brochure will be available for pickup at the Parks & Recreation Office (308 E 4th St) the week of. Limited copies will also be available on July 18th at each Day of Play activity location.
In addition to a roadmap to fun, this brochure also doubles as a passport! Kids will receive a stamp for each activity they participate in for a chance to win fun prizes! Stamped passports must be turned into the Parks & Recreation Office (308 E 4th St) by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 24th. Winners will be contacted on Monday, July 27th!
