In celebration of the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center’s Kinship: A Collaboration with Nature exhibit, join Olympic Coast Creative, Airport Garden Center, and the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center for a special hands-on clay workshop inspired by the beauty and creativity of the natural world.
During this workshop, you’ll create your own unique succulent planter from clay using hand building techniques. No prior clay experience is necessary—our instructors will guide you step-by-step as you shape and personalize a planter that reflects your own artistic vision. Once your piece is complete, you’ll choose from a variety of glaze colors to finish your planter before it is professionally fired.
In addition to creating your planter, you’ll enjoy a special presentation from a gardening expert at Airport Garden Center, who will share tips and inspiration for designing a beautiful succulent arrangement. Learn how to select plants, create appealing combinations, and care for your succulent garden so it thrives long after the workshop ends.
This collaborative event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with art, nature, and community while creating a functional piece you’ll enjoy for years to come.
