Go where photographers flock, through forests dripping with ferns and canyons wrapped in moss to discover plunging cascades of crystal water. Madison Falls is an easy walk for kids and the elderly as well as an accessible paved trail for most trail users.

WHAT YOU’LL SEE

A quick jaunt down a paved path leads you through a mini enchanted forest. Sunbeams struggle to peak though the canopy here. The lush green opens up just enough to reveal the 50-foot drop of Madison Falls. The rushing falls tumble into a small pool below and the trail takes you to the foot so you can get the full feel of the cascading waterfall.

The accessibility of this hike allows all abilities to enjoy a captivating waterfall in a verdant forest. The parking lot is situated right along the Elwha River with several picnic tables to enjoy. After your waterfall stroll, take a break and admire the beauty of the area nestled in a lush river valley.
