At 136 E. First Street, Dead Low Pizza is quickly becoming both. Built around a simple philosophy: "Hot Pizza. Cold Beer." The restaurant serves hand-tossed New York-style thin crust pizza in the heart of downtown Port Angeles, alongside a well-curated selection of cold beer on tap.
The menu keeps things approachable while leaving room to explore. Classics like cheese and pepperoni anchor the lineup, and a rotating list of specialty slices keeps regulars coming back to see what's new: think meatball, sausage and mushroom, or feta and spinach with olives, depending on the week.
Slices come out with a crisp, foldable crust and just the right amount of sauce; classic New York style.
But Dead Low is more than a new pizza shop. It's the next chapter in a location that has already become part of downtown's food culture.
From Strait Slice to Dead Low
The space was previously home to Strait Slice Pizza, a local favorite that announced earlier this year that it would be transitioning into a new concept: Dead Low Pizza Company. The change brought a new name, a refreshed brand, and a renewed focus on New York-style pizza while continuing to serve the downtown community.
“There will be a name change... and his new name will be the Dead Low Pizza Company.”
