Tip: Take the Hurricane Ridge Winter Shuttle from the Port Angeles Wharf in downtown on weekends starting December 20, 2025 through March 29, 2026 to avoid winter driving conditions and lines to get into the park.

Ice Skate at the Winter Ice Village in Downtown Port Angeles

Strap on a pair of ice skates and pirouette your way across the Olympic Peninsula’s only outdoor covered ice skating rink this holiday season. The Winter Ice Village — located in downtown Port Angeles across from Odyssey Bookshop — is open for festive ice skating fun seven days a week. Santa Saturdays

Support local retail shops, restaurants and businesses by strolling through downtown Port Angeles Waterfront District, enjoying all the holiday lights and splendor, and finding the perfect gifts for all your holiday gift-giving. Meet up with Santa on Santa Saturdays at the downtown fountain from 12-3pm on Saturdays (Dec 6, 13 and 20) and listen to Christmas carolers

Port Angeles Tree Lighting

Come to downtown Port Angeles for a festive atmosphere filled with holiday joy and fun on Saturday November 29, 2025. The holiday street party starts at noon and Santa arrives at 4:45 p.m. and he'll stick around for photos until 7 p.m. The annual Port Angeles Tree Lighting is at 4:45pm at the downtown fountain. Shop, eat and revel in the holiday cheer with live music This year's event will include a wide range of local musicians and performers who will be performing on the community stage from 12-5 pm on Laurel Street between First and Front Streets.

Port Angeles Farmers Market Holiday Festival

Shop for handmade and locally crafted goods, including farm-fresh food, handcrafted gifts and provisions for making delicious holiday meals. Shop every Saturday from 10 AM – 2 PM.  Follow them on Facebook for special events at the Port Angeles farmers market.

Holiday Market & Photos with Santa for Pets and Kids at the Vern Burton Community Center

Shop more small businesses and makers at the Holiday Market on December 13, 2025. Santa will visit for photos - bring your pets and kids to meet Santa! You might see the Grinch, too! Tons of holiday shopping, supporting local families. Peninsula Friends of Animals (PFOA) will have a donation box for pet food and toys. The Wintertide Festival is Filled with a Variety of Events & Workshops to Light Up Your Holidays: Wintertide Festival of Lights, Light Art Experience  & Shop the Makers Market

Buy tickets for the Port Angeles Wintertide Festival beaming with holiday workshops, a lantern walk, light and fire performances, live music, food and drink, and glow-in-the-dark art stations.  The Wintertide Festival happens on December 13, 2025  from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The community lantern walk kicks off the Wintertide Festival.

Webster’s Woods outdoor sculpture park in Port Angeles is lit up for the holidays every day from 4-8 PM. Multiple light-based outdoor sculptures and installations will transform the Webster’s Woods art park, lighting up the shortest nights of the year and creating a magical nighttime experience for visitors of all ages. In addition to taking in the artwork, visitors can shop for handmade local gifts at the Holiday Makers Market.

Lighting at the Lake Crescent Lodge

The Lake Crescent Lodge gets lit up for the holidays in Port Angeles, Washington. Spend a day strolling around one of the most beautiful lakes in the PNW then stay for the festive lighting of the Lake Crescent Lodge, a historic lodge nestled in the Olympic National Park. The holiday events include visits with Santa, Christmas carolers and more. Make reservation for dinner on the lake.

As you drive Highway 101 into Port Angeles from the east, you’ll see an amazing holiday light display in the town of Blyn. The Jamstown S’Klallam tribe goes all out for the holidays by wrapping everything in lights — it’s a truly spectacular sight to get you into the holiday spirit.
