Spend two sweet weekends of wine and cider tasting on the Olympic Peninsula this February at the annual Red Wine, Cider & Chocolates event.

The Red Wine, Cider and Chocolate Tour pairs delicious Washington wines and crisp ciders with decadent chocolate tastings at eight nano-wineries and cideries across the Olympic Peninsula — just outside of the Olympic National Park. Participating wineries and cideries span from Port Angeles to Nordland (Marrowstone Island) and include Harbinger Winery, Camaraderie Cellars and Olympic Cellars in Port Angeles as well as Marrowstone Vineyards, Eaglemount Wine and Cider, Port Townsend VineyardsFairWinds Winery and Wind Rose Cellars.

This is a self-guided tour for those 21 and older where you can choose to visit all eight wineries — and cideries — or pick and choose your favorites. If you complete the official tour of all locations, you’ll be entered to win a love-inspired gift basket. Each unique wine or cider venue has special surprises in store for your visit so check them all out at the Olympic Peninsula Wineries website here.

Advance tickets are $40 online or you can buy tickets at participating wineries for $45 while they last. These tickets include a souvenir wine glass, wine and cider tastings at each location as well as delicious chocolate pairings.  Visitors who get their ticket stamped at all eight tasting rooms will be entered into a drawing for a love-inspired gift basket. You can also just buy tastings at each participating winery for $10, but you’ll miss out on getting the cool keepsake glass and a chance to win the gift basket.

A designated driver is highly recommended to make the most of this event and to drink responsibly. Your designated driver does not need to purchase a ticket and are always welcome to taste the food. Children, and those under 21, can accompany you in the tasting rooms, but cannot partake in tastings.
