Raised in the woods of the PNW and frequenting family adventures to the nearby mountains and Washington Coast, a love for Pacific Northwest beauty was ingrained in Gianna from day one. However, art did not fully enter her life until she had a mountain biking accident resulting in a broken back. Confined to a hard plastic clamshell back brace for several months, she spent her recovery at the easel, painting her favorite mountains instead of climbing them. Since, painting has not only transformed Gianna’s life, but has also evolved into her biggest passion in addition to a thriving art career. By sharing her art and story with the world Gianna hopes to inspire others to reach for their dreams… even when they seem most out of reach.
