Join us for an extraordinary weekend of celebration and art at Field Hall’s Grand Opening! On Thursday, July 27th, celebrate the rich impact of local Klallam artists with the exhibition “sčáy ʔaʔ cə nəxwsƛ̕áy̕əm ʔay̕c̕ɬtáyŋxw” or “Creations of the Klallam People” in our new waterfront gallery space, followed by a special welcoming ceremony with the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe. On Friday, July 28th, our Founders Circle donors and guests will be treated to an exclusive extended performance by Grammy-winning jazz musician Diane Schuur, kicking off her 70th birthday tour. (Don’t miss the public matinee performance by Diane Schuur on Saturday, July 29th!)

Our celebration truly kicks off on Saturday, July 29th when we host the ceremonial ribbon cutting outside the new Field Hall building at 11AM. We’ll kick off our free outdoor celebration with a vibrant Community Stage on the Pebble Beach Park lawn in front of Field Hall, featuring incredible local performers. Grab a bite at one of the onsite food trucks and enjoy a picnic on the lawn, just in time to catch the first free outdoor performance from BANDALOOP vertical dance company.

Prepare to be amazed as BANDALOOP defies gravity with three free outdoor performances on the side of the building, 12PM, 6PM, and 7:30PM. No tickets or reservations are needed for outdoor events.

Saturday at 4PM, catch the public matinee performance from Diane Schuur inside the new Donna M. Morris Theater at Field Hall. At 8:30PM, prepare to dance to the infectious rhythms of Grammy award-winning quintet Ranky Tanky.

On Sunday, July 30th, enjoy free outdoor activities including the NOLS Bookmobile and a hot air balloon display by Captain Crystal’s Morning Star Balloon Co. Inside, invite family and friends to experience a high-energy and expressive blend of taiko drumming and Japanese folk dance by Unit Souzou. Unit Souzou will offer two affordable, family-friendly performances at 11AM and 2PM on Sunday. Between performances, interact with local nonprofits and arts organizations at activity stations outside and throughout the new Field Hall facility.

Join us to honor our vibrant local arts, showcase world-class performances, and welcome our community into our new gathering space at the Grand Opening Celebration of Field Hall! www.fieldhallevents.org/grand-opening
